Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze Horus’ struggles for the throne and basic structure of psychoanalytic theory of personality found in Gods of Egypt movie. In this research the researcher used theories of Sigmund Freud, Henry Murray, David McClelland and also Alfred Adler. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research are pictures and dialogues of the movie. The researcher collected the data used documentation and Simak Catat. Technique of analyzing data used by the researcher was Miles and Huberman’s interactive model of data analysis. The procedure of the research was obtained from watching close, taking a note a data, analyzing, classifying, giving code in each data, describing and taking a conclusion. The result of the research, the researcher founds 33 data in Gods of Egypt movie. There are 15 data of struggle for personal superiority, 18 data of struggle for success, 13 data of id, 14 data of ego¸ 6 data of superego.
