This study aims to describe the personality structure of the main character in the Night Butterfly Web Series and modify it in literature teaching materials in high school. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods, the data source is the night butterfly web series, data in the form of interactions between the main character and other characters, the main character's life habits, the main character's gestures, the expression of the main character's face, and the setting described by the director to strengthen the character traits of the main character. The technique used is the technique of seeing and paying attention clearly to the web series then the researcher divides by time segments when the character performs actions that describe his character and then transcribed into written language in the form of dialogue or description of the main character in the form of writing made by the researcher. Studied with Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis consisting of (id), (Ego), and (Superego). The results of this study can be concluded the findings of 46 data consisting of Id of 13 data, Ego of 12 data and Superego of 21 data. The most commonly found data is the main character's Superego. the use of the main character's personality structure to modify literature teaching materials in high school is applied to the independent learning curriculum in KD 3.19 analyzing the content and language of the drama being watched.
